This is the type of artist I want to be
I am a lazy bum, so I thought I would post SOMETHING on my blog. I have never heard of this guy, but apparently he is some cartoonist that lives in my hometown in Kansas. I haven't seen any of his stuff, but I got a good laugh at the crappy cartoon in the background. But not as much as I did at this guy himself. What is he train conductor? A mime? Ah, local color.

The hat with the hair poking out looks remarkably like the hats with fake hair attached that you can buy at the dollar store. It's almost like having a toupee, but not quite as cool.
"Not quite as cool" as having a toupee... wow.
I'm glad the headline of the article on the "Cartoonist Extraordinaire" includes the word "tries" ("to tickle funny bones"). Given what we can see in the picture, I'd hate to see the risque cartoons...
